How do I install Enterprise Server and Windows client updates?
Password Depot includes a built-in update manager that lets you download and install minor updates within the same major version – for example, from version 19.0.0 to 19.0.1.
We recommend checking for updates regularly. The update manager also notifies you when your software is up to date.
Always use the latest version on all your devices.
Major upgrades – such as from version 18 to 19 – are not detected by the update manager. These must be purchased and installed separately from our website.
Password Depot Client
With the Password Depot Update Manager, you can bring the program up to date in the Windows client with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Please click on Help → Search for update.
Password Depot Server Manager
To check for updates in the Password Depot Server Manager, go to Help → Search for Updates. An update manager like the one in the Password Depot client does not exist in the server version. Updates must be downloaded from our website and installed manually.
Password Depot Corporate Edition
The update behavior of the Password Depot Corporate Edition clients can be configured in Password Depot Server Manager under Manage → CE Client Policies. This is particularly useful for larger companies, as it allows them to define how individual users should handle updates.
